Niles Hollowell-Dhar is a globally acclaimed artist who originally began in hip-hop and moved into pop music with the 2010 global smash "Like A G6." He transitioned into dance music from there, producing tracks like the 2013 hit "Tsunami." Next, he launched his artist project, KSHMR, and has taken the scene by storm with 10 Beatport #1 hits such as "Wildcard" and the hit "Secrets" with Tiesto.
After releasing his debut album "Harmonica Andromeda," KSHMR firmly cemented his reputation as one of the most dynamic and diverse acts in global electronic music, gaining DJ Mag's prestigious "Best Live Act" award. As a pioneer and music enthusiast who values creative freedom, he created his Dharma Worldwide label in 2017 and Dharma Studio in 2020, where producers can find his and other artists' tutorials and sound packs. His sound pack series 'Sounds of KSHMR' is among the most used in modern music and his latest release. "Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 4" debuted as the #1 pack on Splice and has remained in the Top 10 since.
In 2023 KSHMR released his critically acclaimed Indian hip-hop album KARAM, featuring some of the biggest names in Indian hip-hop culture MC Stan, Rafter, and KR$NA, to name a few. The album charted at #1 for Rap & Hip Hop, and Niles was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
At present, KSHMR continues to feature in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ awards this year, achieving position #15. Niles's focus for 2024 is dance music with a number of singles set for release Dharma, a 15-date North American club run, main stage appearances at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Peru, and Chile, and a new globally syndicated biweekly radio show KSHMR presents DHARMA Radio.
