The melodic bass faithful have a date to circle. Insomniac Events has revealed the full lineup for Lost In Dreams 2026, returning July 11–12 to Los Angeles’ LA State Historic Park with a roster that leans hard into future bass, melodic dubstep, and vocal-driven dance music.
Now in its third iteration, Lost In Dreams continues to sharpen its identity as a home for emotionally charged electronic music — the kind that thrives on soaring builds, diaristic lyrics, and cathartic drops. The 2026 edition reflects that focus, blending scene mainstays with cross-genre experiments and a nod to the SoundCloud-era roots that shaped the movement.
At the top of the bill is Porter Robinson (DJ set), whose influence on melodic electronic music remains foundational. His inclusion signals a return to the festival’s core ethos: storytelling through sound design. He’s joined by JUNO-nominated producer Dabin, whose guitar-infused live sets have become a staple of the genre, and Chicago duo Louis The Child, known for bridging indie-pop sensibilities with festival-scale production.
Also near the top is Audien, long associated with progressive house’s melodic resurgence, alongside Los Angeles duo ARMNHMR and future bass mainstay William Black. Together, they represent a cross-section of artists who have helped define the sound Lost In Dreams is built around.
Further down the lineup, the festival leans into collaborative energy. Jason Ross goes back-to-back with Blanke, while JVNA pairs with RayRay for a hybrid set that blends melodic and bass-driven influences. Elsewhere, SABAI, Wavedash, and Elephante continue the festival’s emphasis on artists who blur genre boundaries while maintaining an emotional core.
One of the more deliberate programming choices is the use of legacy callbacks. Acts like Yung Bae and What So Not bring a stylistic throwback, while a “SoundCloud Era Set” from Manila Killa, AObeats, and Robokid taps directly into the online ecosystem that helped launch many of today’s melodic bass artists. Baauer, best known for “Harlem Shake,” rounds out that retrospective thread.
Since debuting in Las Vegas in 2021, Lost In Dreams has steadily expanded its footprint. The move to Los Angeles in 2024 marked a turning point, placing the festival closer to the West Coast communities that helped fuel its rise. Past editions have featured names like SLANDER, Adventure Club, and Alan Walker, reinforcing its position within a global network of melodic dance events.
That trajectory mirrors the broader growth of Insomniac Events itself. Under founder Pasquale Rotella, the company has evolved from underground rave organizer to one of the most influential forces in live electronic music, with flagship events like Electric Daisy Carnival and Beyond Wonderland anchoring its portfolio. Lost In Dreams, by contrast, operates on a more curated wavelength — less maximalist, more introspective.
Tickets for the 2026 edition go on sale March 19 at noon PT, with both GA and 21+ VIP options available. As with previous years, demand is expected to skew toward fans invested in the melodic side of the spectrum — a niche that continues to grow as electronic music diversifies.
What sets Lost In Dreams apart isn’t just its lineup, but its intent. In a festival landscape often dominated by high-BPM spectacle, it offers a counterpoint: a space where vulnerability and melody take center stage. With artists like Porter Robinson and ARMNHMR leading the charge, the 2026 edition looks poised to deepen that identity rather than dilute it.
For fans chasing emotional resonance as much as energy, that’s the draw — and increasingly, the differentiator.
