ULTRA Worldwide has added another milestone to its growing legacy, becoming the first festival brand ever to earn recognition across all six inhabited continents in DJ Mag’s 2026 Top 100 Festivals ranking. The achievement underscores the organization’s unparalleled global reach, with seven ULTRA festivals securing spots on this year’s list and its flagship Ultra Music Festival in Miami landing at an impressive No. 4.

For a brand built on taking electronic music around the world, the latest rankings reinforce what many fans have witnessed firsthand over the past two decades. From Miami to Tokyo, Buenos Aires to Cape Town, ULTRA Worldwide has established an international network of events that continues to shape the global festival landscape.

Leading the charge is Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which once again ranked among the world’s elite festivals. It was joined by ULTRA Europe at No. 47, ULTRA Japan at No. 59, ULTRA Korea at No. 70, ULTRA Taiwan at No. 74, ULTRA Buenos Aires at No. 82, ULTRA Australia at No. 86, and ULTRA South Africa at No. 96. Together, those placements make ULTRA Worldwide the only festival organization to achieve representation across every inhabited continent recognized by DJ Mag.

The recognition follows another blockbuster edition of Ultra Music Festival, which returned to Bayfront Park from March 27-29, 2026. The sold-out event welcomed 165,000 attendees from 100 countries and extended its reach far beyond Miami through the #ULTRALIVE broadcast. This year’s livestream drew an impressive 42.5 million viewers worldwide, highlighting the festival’s influence both on-site and online.

Ultra Miami has long been known for creating unforgettable moments, and the 2026 edition delivered plenty. Skrillex made a surprise appearance during BZRP’s headlining performance, sending the crowd into a frenzy, while Swedish House Mafia transformed the Main Stage with a curated “festival within a festival.” Their takeover featured a rare back-to-back performance with Eric Prydz, alongside appearances by Afrojack, Armand Van Helden, Boys Noize, and additional special guests. Those unexpected collaborations have become a defining characteristic of the Ultra experience, helping maintain the festival’s reputation as one of electronic music’s most influential stages.

The momentum extends well beyond Miami. ULTRA Worldwide has already staged a busy 2026 season, bringing events to Buenos Aires, Wellington for the inaugural ULTRA New Zealand, Melbourne and the Gold Coast for ULTRA Australia, Lima for ULTRA Peru, and both Cape Town and Johannesburg for ULTRA South Africa. The continued expansion reflects the organization’s commitment to delivering large-scale electronic music experiences to fans across multiple regions while maintaining the production values synonymous with the ULTRA name.

Next on the calendar is the 12th edition of ULTRA Europe in Split, Croatia, running July 10-12. The lineup includes Calvin Harris making his first-ever appearance at the festival, alongside Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla, FISHER, Hardwell, John Summit, Martin Garrix, Mau P, Sara Landry and Subtronics. As one of Europe’s premier electronic music gatherings, the event is expected to continue the strong momentum established throughout the year.

Later in the season, ULTRA Japan returns to Tokyo Odaiba ULTRA Park on Sept. 19-20 with a lineup featuring Alesso, The Martinez Brothers, Peggy Gou, Sara Landry, Worship, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and a special back-to-back set from Zedd and Knock2. The fall calendar also includes the highly anticipated return of ULTRA Mexico after an eight-year hiatus. Scheduled for Nov. 7-8 at Estadio Banorte Square in Mexico City, the festival will become the venue’s first-ever electronic music event. One week later, ULTRA Taiwan will celebrate its sixth edition at Taipei City’s Dajia Riverside Park.

Looking ahead, Ultra Music Festival has already confirmed its return to Bayfront Park from March 26-28, 2027, giving fans another opportunity to experience the event that continues to set benchmarks for large-scale dance music festivals.

As the global electronic music scene grows increasingly competitive, the latest DJ Mag Top 100 recognition demonstrates that ULTRA Worldwide remains one of the genre’s defining forces. With flagship events, regional festivals and an expanding international footprint, the brand continues to connect dance music communities around the world while reinforcing why Ultra Music Festival remains one of the most recognizable names in electronic music culture.
