Marshmello and Subtronics to Headline S2O Festival's U.S. Debut in NYC

Pulse Events is set to make a splash this Labor Day Weekend with the U.S. debut of the S2O Festival, one of Asia’s most celebrated music festivals. Hosted at The Brooklyn Mirage from August 31 to September 1, the festival promises two nights of world-class electronic music, immersive water effects, and cultural festivities.

Grammy-nominated DJ Marshmello and dubstep powerhouse Subtronics will headline the event. Marshmello, known for his chart-topping hits and innovative performances, will debut with Pulse Events. Subtronics, a favorite among electronic music fans, returns after his previous performance at Barclays Center and a standout set at S2O Thailand.

The lineup also features notable acts such as Norwegian artist Alan Walker, who headlined S2O Taiwan, and melodic bass artist Said The Sky b2b William Black. Other performers include Timmy Trumpet, Borgeous, Dzeko, Kaivon, ARMNHMR, and LEVEL UP. Local Asian-American artists such as SENSEI, Zion b2b Jomu, Cyberpunk b2b PSYXTOI, and JOKAH will also take the stage, adding to the festival’s diverse musical offerings.

A Global Celebration of Music and Culture

S2O Festival, launched in Bangkok in 2015, is famed for its Songkran (Thai New Year) celebrations, during which attendees partake in water fights for good luck. Over the years, the festival has expanded to Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam, earning spots on DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals list.

Pulse Events, the company behind the U.S. debut, is renowned for its expertise in the Asian-American electronic music market. They have previously produced major concerts and world tours for artists like Martin Garrix, SLANDER, and Afrojack, as well as South Korean superstars EXO and Big Bang.

With S2O New York, Pulse Events continues its mission to represent Asian Americans in the global dance music community. Previous successes include the Spring Festival: Lunar New Year Celebration, which blends electronic music with traditional Asian culture.
