S1E15: Let‘s talk about ANXIETY from WORRY & STRESS Meditative Muse
Insomniac is bringing one of dance music’s most recognizable brands to South America in a major way. The global festival powerhouse has unveiled the lineup for the inaugural edition of EDC Colombia, set to take place Oct. 10-11, 2026, at Medellín’s Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot. The announcement confirms the presence of more than 80 artists across a wide spectrum of electronic music, signaling an ambitious first chapter for the festival in one of Latin America’s fastest-growing dance music markets.
Presented by Insomniac in partnership with Páramo Presenta, EDC Colombia arrives with the full weight of the Electric Daisy Carnival brand behind it. Since its launch in Las Vegas, EDC has expanded across multiple continents, and the Medellín edition marks another significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy.
At the top of the bill are some of the biggest names in festival culture. Fans can expect performances from Alesso, Afrojack B2B Green Velvet, ALOK, Deadmau5, Illenium, and Kaskade, a collection of artists whose sounds have shaped the modern EDM landscape for more than a decade. The rare Afrojack B2B Green Velvet set stands out as one of the lineup’s most intriguing bookings, pairing two artists from distinctly different corners of dance music.
The festival’s techno offering is equally substantial. Hard-hitting acts such as 999999999, Boris Brejcha, ARTBAT, Nico Moreno, Restricted, and Richie Hawtin will represent the genre’s diverse spectrum, from peak-time warehouse energy to hypnotic minimalism. For fans who have watched techno continue its global rise over the last several years, the depth of the Medellín lineup reflects the genre’s growing influence on major festival programming worldwide.
Trance enthusiasts will also find plenty to celebrate. Above & Beyond, Astrix, Cosmic Gate, Infected Mushroom, Hannah Laing, and Vini Vici are among the artists scheduled to perform, reinforcing EDC Colombia’s commitment to serving multiple electronic music communities rather than focusing solely on mainstream festival sounds.
House and tech-house appear poised to play a central role throughout the weekend. Beltran, Dombresky, HoneyLuv, DJ Holographic, LP Giobbi, Armand Van Helden, Stavros, Pachanga Boys, and Felipe Gordon B2B Marcellus Pittman headline a diverse roster that bridges underground credibility and festival appeal. Their inclusion reflects the continuing demand for groove-driven sounds that have dominated dance floors and streaming charts alike in recent years.
Elsewhere on the lineup, melodic and progressive fans can look forward to sets from Miss Monique, Korolova, and Colombian artist Augusto Yepes. Meanwhile, globally minded selectors such as BLOND:ISH, Francis Mercier, Carlita, and Diossa bring a broader range of influences that continue to reshape contemporary dance music.
Beyond the artist roster, EDC Colombia will feature several of the festival brand’s signature stage concepts. kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, bionicJUNGLE, and stereoBLOOM are all set to make the trip to Medellín, delivering the immersive production design synonymous with EDC events worldwide.
The debut edition will also showcase stage takeovers from some of Insomniac’s most respected sub-brands. Factory 93 will bring its underground-focused programming, Dreamstate will cater to trance devotees, and Germany’s influential Time Warp brand will contribute its techno pedigree. Together, those curated experiences should help define the festival’s identity beyond its main stages.
The response from fans appears strong already. According to organizers, VIP and GA+ passes have sold out ahead of the general on-sale period, leaving only GA tickets available. Remaining tickets for EDC Colombia are scheduled to go on sale at 2 p.m. COT (12 p.m. PT), highlighting the level of anticipation surrounding the event’s first edition.
For Insomniac, the launch of EDC Colombia represents more than another international expansion. It is a recognition of Colombia’s growing importance within the global electronic music ecosystem. Medellín has become an increasingly vital destination for club culture, festivals, and touring artists, making it a natural home for one of dance music’s most influential brands.
With a lineup that spans EDM, house, techno, trance, and melodic sounds, EDC Colombia’s debut edition is positioning itself as one of the most significant electronic music events in Latin America for 2026. If the early ticket demand is any indication, Medellín is ready to welcome the next chapter of the EDC story.
